Built inside a job shop.
Not a logo wall.
Eric Baxter runs Nova Metals, a contract manufacturer, on QuickBooks, HubSpot, and an ERP. The follow-up that slips in that shop is a quote that sits, an invoice that goes past due, and a lead that goes quiet. TLDR is that follow-up, with a person still clicking Send.
Quotes that sit
An open quote with an email becomes a check-in. You approve it. Accepted, lost, and invoiced rows are skipped.
Invoices past due
The reminder is drafted from the open invoice. Nothing is emailed until you click Send. A later run stops once it is no longer overdue.
Leads that go quiet
A lead still new after a few days is an alert to you. The customer is not emailed by that automation.
What this page will not claim
There is no published DSO change and no hours-saved total for Nova Metals yet. Those numbers go on this page when they are measured on that book. A counter with a made-up total does not.
Who this is for
Job shops and contract manufacturers on the same stack: QuickBooks for the invoice, a CRM for the lead, and an ERP or a sheet for the quote. Bookkeepers who run those books use the firm plan.
